a yard by the adige.

Tornante is a riding school on the north side of Trento: a fenced training yard, a classroom with a coffee machine, and the mountains at the end of every street.

how it started.

Giuliana Dallapè taught car drivers for twelve years and rode a Guzzi to work every day of them. In 2011 she rented an empty tyre depot by the river and painted cones on the floor.

The depot is still the classroom. The yard behind it has a figure of eight, a braking strip and a slope steep enough to make anyone think.
